As a student the first connection you have with a class is through the syllabus. Not surprisingly, my law school class syllabi have been almost identical to the ones I received in undergrad. Continue reading
Do you guys remember when I was worried about signing a lease on an apartment that I had never seen?
Yeah, that was a waste of energy. I’m in love with this apartment, absolutely in love. I honestly should have known it was going to be great under the circumstances of how I found it. The situation (Read about it Here) sucked, but mysteriously worked itself out in such a short time.
Here’s a list of reasons why this apartment is awesome.
- 2nd floor
- Den/office space
- Full laundry room
- Cabinet space
- Less than 10 mins away from the law school
- Free parking
- HUUUUGE bedroom
- and so much more!
I look back to times like this when I’m stressing and freaking out about something. It helps remind me that my stress is most likely unnecessary & things will work themselves out in the end.
There’s no reason to worry.
While you’re reading this, I’ll be on the road to Illinois! It’ll be about 17-18 hours depending on how long my mom decides to take at the rest stop. LOL. Hopefully we’ll make it by 10/11AM which will be 9/10AM with the time Change.
So I attempted to fit all 10 of those boxes & 6 suitcases in two vehicles & failed miserably. We ended up shipping 3 boxes with UPS & they’ll be in Illinois on Thursday. Also IKEA called to confirm that my furniture will be delivered tomorrow between 1 and 5.
I can’t believe I’ve been counting down since March & the day is finally here. I’m leaving Florida behind to discover new adventures, friends, & of course law school. Here’s to the next 3 years…are we there yet?
Oh, & HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEE!
Did I forget that Wednesday was a day of the week, or what?! LOL
So, Red Robin is amazingly delicious. Am I late on this train? I just discovered the greatness, so I decided to dedicate an entire post to it. Continue reading
Even with all the technology in the world at my fingertips, I still enjoy the feeling of pen on paper. Everything has to be written down or it basically doesn’t exist in my mind. I’ve Continue reading
